Issue 14

In the summer books issue, we consider abortion through 200 years of American literature; queer Lolita novels; left and right takes on DEI; climate coalitions; and more. We argue for pleasure as a site of radical bodily autonomy while navigating surveillance, abortion, and taboo kinks. This issue also places Luigi Mangione in the history of Italian-American radicalism and visits a skate park in Ramallah.
